Crusher parts
Identification, grades, cost comparison and warranty.
It is usually straightforward. Send a photograph of the worn part next to a tape measure or a rule, the crusher model and serial number, and the approximate weight if you can get it. Between the crusher model, the fixing centres and the overall envelope we can normally identify the part.
If it is a liner, the chamber configuration matters as much as the part — a coarse chamber and a medium chamber can use different liners on the same machine, so tell us which configuration you are running.
Mn22Cr2 has a higher nominal manganese level than Mn18Cr2. Carbon content, heat treatment, geometry and service conditions also matter. The grade name alone does not establish a fixed hardness, toughness ranking or wear-life advantage.
Check the warranty terms for your equipment and obtain clarification from the OEM where required. Aftermarket supply is not OEM endorsement. Agree the required fitment references and documentation before ordering.
Compare cost per tonne crushed, not price per part. That means: the tonnage the last set processed, the price paid, the shutdown labour to change it, and the production lost during that shutdown.

Conveyor components
Carryback, blade selection, pulley life and underground duty.
Carryback is material remaining on the belt after discharge. It can accumulate on return idlers and beneath the conveyor, increasing cleaning and maintenance requirements.
A suitable secondary cleaner can reduce residual carryback. Use the manufacturer mounting instructions and verify performance on the actual belt; fixed removal percentages or universal mounting distances are not appropriate.
Blade selection depends on splice type, belt condition, speed and the cleaner design. Some carbide tips are approved for mechanical fasteners; others are not. Check the exact blade and splice compatibility rather than ruling out every carbide blade.
Confirm compatibility from the cleaner manufacturer documentation. Blade hardness alone is not a reliable selection rule.
Pulley life varies with loads, fatigue, corrosion, belt tension, bearings and maintenance. Inspect against the design and manufacturer criteria; a universal years-of-life or remaining-wall-thickness limit is not appropriate.
Refurbishment may be possible after a competent condition assessment of the shell, shaft, welds, bearings and lagging. Cost and suitability must be quoted for the individual pulley.
Underground applications require the site-specific fire, antistatic and equipment requirements to be established first. Obtain certificates applicable to the actual bar, lagging, belt or component; a belt-material standard does not automatically certify a complete steel frame.
Specify corrosion, moisture, wash-down and build-up conditions. Frame finish, bar construction and maintainability should be reviewed for the quoted design.

Ordering and terms
Quotes, lead times, minimum orders, warranty and payment.
Response time depends on identification, supplier availability and the engineering review required. Send the part reference, model, quantity and destination; we will identify any missing information needed to quote.
As much of this as you have: crusher make and model, OEM part number or a photograph of the part, material grade if you have a site standard, quantity, and the delivery destination. Quantity and destination matter more than people expect, because they drive the freight component of the price.
Send the required quantity, including single-part enquiries. Minimum manufacturing quantities and freight depend on the item and are confirmed in the quotation.
Warranty scope, duration, exclusions and the process for reporting defects are stated in the quotation and order terms. Normal wear is different from a material or manufacturing defect.
Payment method, deposit, balance and any approved credit terms are confirmed in writing on the quotation.
